The Reconnect — Privacy

Last updated: July 2026

The Reconnect is a 30-day couples challenge by Girls Get Off. This app is built to know as little about you as possible while still running the challenge. Here is exactly what it holds, why, and your choices. This is intimate territory, so we have kept it deliberately minimal.

What we store

We do not store the answers to the tasks, your messages to each other, photos, or anything you do off-app. The tasks happen between the two of you; the app only tracks that a night was completed.

What we never do

How it is used

To run your challenge across both phones, keep your shared streak, show the anonymous cohort leaderboard, and judge the $1,000 date-night prize (most tasks completed on time, plus the Day 30 review). Winners are only ever announced with permission.

Where it lives

Data is stored securely with our backend provider (Supabase) and protected so that only you and your partner can access your couple's information. As a New Zealand business we handle your information in line with the NZ Privacy Act 2020, and we treat relationship data as sensitive.
